Our Mission

We are a Reconciling Congregation - Living Out God's Love by Embracing Diversity, Seeking Justice and Changing Hearts

Reaching out in Prayer

This week we hold the following people in our hearts and prayers: The Family of Pastor Helen Mansfield, The Family of Elizabeth McDaniel, Thea Sagen, Pat Summit, Brad Jensen, The Ulrich Family, Tom Pimm, Connie Jacob, Ross Irot, Scott Halderman & the family of Bob Ornberg.

Kairos Prison Ministry

Kairos Prison Ministry International, Inc. (Kairos) is a lay-led, interdenominational Christian ministry in which men and women volunteers bring Christ's love and forgiveness to prisoners and their families.

The Kairos programs take the participants on a journey that demonstrates the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Kairos Prison Ministry is Christian in nature, although no religious affiliation is necessary to be a participant.

The programs involve a structured model that includes the weekend experience, followed by guests or participants gathering regularly for accountability, support, and prayer.

Community Meal

We are proud to have created a community meal for all who wish to come, enjoy and share in a FREE meal every Wednesday at 5:30pm.  Our own New Community United Methodist Church has helped three other churches in the area serve over 12,000 meals to both those who need them as well as those who wish to spend an evening with friends of others who enjoy discussing either their faith or their interests in a miriad of activities.  Join in the fun and we hope to see you next Wednesday night!

Our Thrift Store is open 10am-5pm Tues-Sat.  We always need vounteers to help sort and prepare items for sale, please contact us at 559-683.2652, if you would like to join in the fun of serving others.  We also work with 7th Generation by giving up to 10,000 pounds of clothing to be shredded & turned into items like blankets for natural disaster victims.  We accept donations Tuesday through Saturday from 10am-3pm.  Furniture donations are only accepted on Saturday.  We thank you for your gifts.
